Napa Valley Tip would love to share with you the BEST Pizzeria in the town of St. Helena!! I am a pizza + wine lover so when I visited Pizzeria Travigne I was in heaven!! I’ve been there before, but this time was special because they updated the menu and their property!! We were greeted by a friendly hospitality team and guided to our seats on their patio to enjoy the gorgeous summer weather in Napa Valley.
Tra Vigne Pizzeria and Restaurant has been open for almost 25 years and located in the heart of St. Helena. This is the go-to place for locals and tourists alike, where thin-crust, sourdough pizzas star on the menu alongside of an array of tasty salads, small plates, sandwiches, pasta, the best Mozzarella, and more! A full bar offers seasonal cocktails, 10 craft beers on tap, and a delicious and affordable wine selection from Napa Valley and beyond. They offer a Happy Hour menu seven days a week, which is for Dine-in guests only from 4 – 6 pm.
Enjoy dining al fresco during summer time on the outdoor patio & bring the family for wine country flavors at friendly prices. I highly recommend a visit once you’re in wine country!!
We started our dinner with the Mozzarella “al Minuto” which is hand pulled fresh mozzarella, garlic, grilled crostini, olive oil, and we added the (highly recommended) Heirloom tomatoes!! This appetizer is definitely the one you MUST order, it is to die for!!
Seriously, the pizzas are incredibly delicious!! They recently changed their pizza dough and style of pizza a bit, going with smaller/thinner (I prefer thin-crust style myself) wood fired flat bread type pizza. They still offer two sizes, so you can get a large pizza to share or a smaller size pie just for one. Lots of options to choose from, and my favorite is the Funghi crimini, shiitake and beach mushrooms, fontina cheese & truffle oil. My other favorite is the Sonoma Fig with black mission figs, gorgonzola, arugula, mozzarella & aged balsamic reduction!! Sooo Yummy!!
I was surprised to see a Bocce court on the property, which truly make this the perfect restaurant for families and groups of friends. The Bocce court is located just outside the patio area where diners can play Bocce while they wait for their meals!! Bocce is so much fun and I couldn’t be happier!!
Last but not least, we were treated to some fabulous Profiteroles with Chocolate Sauce!! Thankfully we saved room for dessert because it was truly decadent!!
