About Napa Valley

Welcome to Napa Valley!!! A GATEWAY TO PARADISE!!

I am so glad to call this place HOME!! Napa is the largest of Napa Valley’s five towns, and is perfectly located about 50 miles north of San Francisco (90 minute drive from San Francisco over the scenic Golden Gate Bridge) and an hour south of Sacramento. Napa offers an incredible diversity of Wine, Food and Activities. With approximately 500 hillside vineyards (wineries), the legendary Napa Valley is just 30 miles long, has the perfect climate, soil, and topography to harvest incredible Cabernet Sauvignon wines. This little town is not just about wine, is a worldwide known for gourmet dining (lots of Michelin Star restaurants), deluxe lodging/spa, and modern culture.

Napa Valley is considered California’s most famous wine region since 1970s, specifically in 1976 when exploded into the global spotlight Judgment of Paris, where the two varietal Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon won the first place in a blind tasting in Paris, which is considered the most important competition that changed the way the world was seeing the California wines.

The French judges were sure that the wines from France would win the competition, so the 9 wine jury experts began to taste the white wines in the first tasting, and the winner was Chateau Montelena’s Chardonnay which is located in Calistoga north of Napa Valley, and they also tasted several Cabernet Sauvignon and again the first place winner was the Stag’s Leap wine Cellars located in the heart of the Stag’s Leap district in Napa Valley.

When to visit Napa Valley? Every season is incredible and charming. My favorite time to visit is end of Spring and beginning of Summer, why? Because I am a Brazilian girl who loves warm weather and Summer warms up with events + festivals with lots of outdoors activities. Fall is absolutely gorgeous too, it is when the magic of Harvesting the grapes happens and the city is full of tourists excited to do tours and learn more about the wine process. Also, the vineyard views during the Fall is outstanding. Winter settles into a cool environment and should be a great time to spend with family and shop for holiday season and visit unbelievable restaurants. You will always enjoy Napa Valley no matter which season you visit!! I would love to be your Concierge and help you with personalized itinerary during your stay.
